This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through discounttacklex.shop.
Customer service email:
Our policy is intended to provide clear procedures for returns, refunds, damaged goods, incorrect goods, faulty products, and change-of-mind requests while preserving all mandatory rights available to Australian consumers.
Our goods come with guarantees that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy, or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, remedies for goods that fail to satisfy consumer guarantees depend on the nature and seriousness of the problem. For a major problem, consumers may generally choose between a refund and replacement. A business cannot use a store policy to remove mandatory consumer rights.
In addition to rights available under Australian Consumer Law, discounttacklex.shop offers a voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return period for eligible products.
The 30-day period begins on the date the customer receives the product.
For a voluntary change-of-mind return, the product must generally:
A customer wishing to request a return must first contact info@discounttacklex.shop.
Customers should not send products back without obtaining return instructions.
Where a return is requested solely because the customer changed their mind and the product is not faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise covered by a mandatory consumer guarantee, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product.
Original free standard shipping does not create a deduction from an approved change-of-mind refund because standard shipping was provided free of charge.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for voluntary returns.
discounttacklex.shop is not responsible for a voluntary return parcel lost before it is received by the designated return facility.
Customers should contact info@discounttacklex.shop if a product:
Customers should provide their order information and, where reasonably possible, photographs or other information showing the issue.
These materials help us assess the claim and determine an appropriate remedy, but we will not impose requirements that unlawfully restrict Australian Consumer Law rights.
Where a product has a major problem within the meaning of Australian Consumer Law, the customer may have the right to choose a refund or replacement.
A major problem can include circumstances where a product is unsafe, substantially different from its description, or cannot be used for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time.
Where required by law, the customer's statutory choice of remedy will be respected.
Where a problem is minor and can reasonably be fixed, discounttacklex.shop may provide a repair or other remedy permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
If a minor problem cannot be fixed within a reasonable period, additional remedies may become available under applicable law.
For products that can easily be posted or returned, a customer may be required to return the item so that the problem can be assessed.
If the product is confirmed to have a qualifying problem, reasonable return costs already paid by the customer will be reimbursed where required by Australian Consumer Law.
For faulty products that are large, heavy, or difficult to return, responsibility for collection or transport will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law.
Customers should keep receipts showing reasonable postage or transportation expenses.
We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from discounttacklex.shop.
Proof may include:
Australian consumer guidance recognises that proof of purchase does not necessarily have to be an original paper receipt.
We may reasonably inspect returned products to determine their condition and the nature of the reported issue.
An inspection does not remove or reduce any mandatory consumer rights.
Where a product is returned under our voluntary change-of-mind policy and shows unreasonable use, damage, missing components, or deterioration caused after delivery, we may refuse the voluntary return to the extent permitted by law.
This limitation does not apply where doing so would unlawfully restrict a statutory consumer guarantee claim.
Once a return has been received and assessed, we will notify the customer of the outcome.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method unless:
After we issue a refund, additional processing time may be required by the customer's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or financial institution before the funds become visible.
For an approved statutory refund relating to a major failure, the refund will be provided consistently with Australian Consumer Law requirements.
ACCC guidance states that a refund for a product with a major problem should generally be the full amount paid and should ordinarily be provided using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Where appropriate, we may offer replacement goods instead of a refund.
For change-of-mind requests, exchanges are subject to stock availability and approval.
For statutory claims, the remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law.
Purchasing an item on sale, discount, promotion, clearance, or with a promotional code does not remove any statutory consumer guarantee rights.
The ACCC has specifically warned retailers against misleading policies suggesting that faulty clearance or sale products can never be refunded.
Voluntary change-of-mind returns remain subject to the conditions stated in this policy.
For hygiene, safety, or practical reasons, certain products may not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind return once opened, used, personalised, consumed, or materially altered.
This may include personalised products, opened hygiene-sensitive goods, perishable goods, downloadable digital products after delivery, or gift cards where permitted by law.
These exclusions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.
They do not exclude statutory rights relating to faulty, unsafe, defective, misdescribed, or otherwise non-compliant goods.
Customers who want to cancel an order should contact info@discounttacklex.shop as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order enters processing or has been dispatched.
Where an order cannot be cancelled before shipment, the customer may use the applicable return procedure after delivery.
This does not affect statutory rights.
If tracking information indicates an unusual delay or a parcel cannot reasonably be located, customers should contact info@discounttacklex.shop.
We will review the available tracking and fulfilment information and work toward an appropriate resolution.
